Westaqua Office Policy for COVID-19

Workplace Distancing

  • Keep a distance of 2 metres between you, your co-workers and customers.
  • Increase distance between desks, tables and workstations.
  • Limit eating to your desk area ONLY.
  • Reduce activities that require close physical proximity or contact with people, such as team meetings.
  • Limit any contacts closer than 2 meters to the shortest time possible.
  • While not at your desk a face shield, or face mask must be worn.
  • Only one person in the kitchen at a time

COVID-19 Prevention Cleaning:

  • Use disinfectant wipe(s) to clean toilet handle, taps, urinal handle if used both inside and outside handles. This is to take place EVERY time the washroom is used.
  • After using kitchen, please wipe down all surfaces, handles and equipment that have been touched, with a disinfectant wipe.
  • Wipe down indoor and outdoor handles upon entering and/or exiting the office (see below for alarm)
  • Use hand sanitizer to clean hands prior to touching the alarm pad
  • Wipe down the Ricoh copiers and any other communal office equipment after EVERY use.
  • Keep your desk area clean and wiped down daily.
  • Dispose tissues ONLY into garbage cans with lids, 1) after using the washroom, the toilet must be cleaned. All surfaces touched must be cleaned with disinfectant wipes.
